I was worried about the over compressing of the samples, the ones the clients get are without our URL across them.

Does anyone have a sample of what the MPG posters want?

Good stuff. My only advice would be to get her ass in the air. The POV shot when the guy is laying down is the best but she needs to arch that back so you see her face (obviously), her ass and her feet.

I'm going to speak to my editor tomorrow about him supplying a DVD quality version as well as the compressed ones.

The full film is a higher quality but I'm thinking we might even go better.

Will take a look at your samples.

Nice quality... what software encoding wise do you use to get that?

I have not got a clue what software we use.

But it would be nice to know what's the best.

I think we use Adobe Premier

I use Pro Coder 2 by Canopus for encoding, for it?s versatility.

Those samples are just a standard MPEG 1 vcd setting
Anyone can play them and a reasonable quality.

It?s more about what quality you have to start with before editing, rather then the encoding software.
We buy everything on Mini DV.

Thank William for the info, much appreciated... shall give the software a try... I use cleaner on the mac but mpg output sucks even with dv source.
