The largest site, www.partypoker.com, is estimated to be making $100 million to $200 million in profit a year.

Um 200 mil is not = to 600 mil.

well, I am not a poker player, but isn't poker the only game where the bank can not win?

how do they make their money? do they take a percentage of the bids?

10% or around on Tournaments

so when you see a $100 buy-in tourney

it will look like this $100+$9 buy-in

Party poker always has thier $200+$15 quarter million dollar prize pool once a week and they get 1,200 players to buy in.. so that tourney alone they make $18,000
