I heard an old lady talking about how they cut her tonsils out without using anesthetic when she was a child, and she can still remember the sound it made "like tearing gristle from a chicken" and she was 100+ years old

so it shows you the impact of pain

doctors made money from removing tonsils, like taking out your appendix, and it was an easy operation = easy money

people were brainwashed (scared) into thinking that this was necessary, to reduce risk of infection, and maybe even save a child's life

There are almost as many nerves on the end of the penis as there are in the lips and mouth, would you allow the doctor to cut a piece from your child's mouth without freezing it first?

I am glad that I was smart enough not to have that done to our kids, even though it was done to most of us

okay. this is weird. i have seen over a hundred penis' up close and personal. i can count on one hand the uncircumcized ones.

i don't think it's a regional thing. i am from west texas. i lived in dallas for 10 years and tasted pretty much the smorgasbord of cock. so, am i just innately attracted to cut guys? as a user, i prefer cut guys.

Well known fact that the removal of the foreskin seriously reduces the risk for infections due to un-hygienic cleansing. Thats the main purpose for it.

In other words, men (for the most part)do not wash as they should or as often as they need to.

Gemini that is a myth. The foreskin actually protects the penis. Do you really think evolution would produce a penis that was hygienically inferior to what man can produce with a knife? Owell -- not much I can do about it but tell others... If you read the psychological effects of circumcision -- that's a trip in itself... I wouldn't doubt that the trauma from circumcision as a baby could affect the long term psychology of adult males... and the way they interact with the world.

Skin and mucosa.

The outer surface of the prepuce is skin, however the inner surface is mucosal membrane although it resembles skin in appearance. There is a muco-cutaneous boundary just inside the tip of the prepuce. The mucosa has sebaceous glands that lubricate, moisturize, and protect the glans penis. The prepuce normally covers the glans penis and protects it from foreign matter, friction, drying, and injury.

Mines cut and it's sa-weet looking. Them uncut ones look nasty.. like a big ole outtie bellybutton.

I would like to add to my comment by saying that I truly remember getting it done....

One of only 2 memories I took away from being an infant..

The other involved tall buildings and a black stroller (both of which I saw when i grew up).

The cutting off of my foreskin must have been really painful and scary for me to remember it.

Still, I like the looks of it though.
