My thoughts are with you. This has got to be one of the most depressing things to have to go through.

Sorry to hear. That's a tough choice, but in the end putting her down may be best for her.

xclusive 09-07-2004 07:00 PM

Oncle_Benny 09-07-2004 07:03 PM

Sly_RJ 09-07-2004 07:03 PM

Man your dog has been sick for a while now. Do your friend a favor and say good-bye. It's hard, but you know it's time.

Mutt 09-07-2004 07:09 PM

dogs when they get old are no different than people, run into a bunch of health problems, up until this last month they've been manageable - i wouldn't put an old person with health problems to sleep unless their quality of life was very poor, no different for a dog with me - if u have the money to pay for the vet bills.

veterenarians are very nice caring people but also mercenaries.

arika hit me up tomorrow? thanks

Spunky 09-07-2004 07:11 PM

Poor ole doggy...perhaps it's time to say goodbye to your companion..If the poor thing is suffering it is for the best..What does the vet suggest?

buddyjuf 09-07-2004 07:14 PM

my deepest wishes to you and your dog dude, hope you get that miracle

zentz 09-07-2004 07:19 PM

...is an awful experience.. i know the feeling

Mutt 09-07-2004 07:21 PM

very mixed messages from them - got complicated because this clinic has three vets - the one i deal with mostly is one of the nicest people i've ever me, he told me there was a decent shot she could recover, he thought she might be better off at home where she's in familiar surroundings - so i was a bit optimistic - then two days later out of the blue the second vet calls and he says he's consulted with the first guy and they think her chances of regaining her ability to walk are dismal now.
