Router or Hub and ICS with WindowsXP

Will a routher or a hub work with WinXP in ICS with 1 IP. I need to free up a PCI slot and thats connected to my 2nd computer, so if I get a router/hub will that 2nd computer have ICS enabled thru the router/hub? or will I need a 2nd IP to do this

Get a router. You will have 1 IP to your ISP but the two computers will have their own IP on your own little network. No ICS needed anymore.

Just get router all you need is one ip...With a hub you need more then one I.P all a hub really is a repeater of a signal....

If you have a ethernet card or wireless card just get a router...... it uses dhcp.

ICS is for people that don't have routers.

Example #2 on that page.
Most routers for home use have a build in switch so you don't need one.

Yes most routers get the job done...
