No progressive but even after you deinterlace you will still have more resolution than DV. Native 16:9 CCDs.

Damn, I've been waiting for this thing for more than a year now but no progressive scan? That's a serious disappointment!

The pro model will be out next year with XLR inputs and perhaps progressive.

I do hand held shooting so having the LCD up on top is better so I don't keep bumping the LCD.

I am gonna try to sell my DVX100A. Should still be what indy filmmakers will want since the Sony does not have 24p.
