I have all the games tivo'd but haven't had a chance to watch them yet. I did watch a little of the USA/Canada game.

Any NHL progress? So far all i've read is they aren't doing shit.

Probably won't play until December. Players won't want to strike all year and not get paid.

I believe so too, after January, or Feb... if not say bu bye to the season. Many players already have temp contracts overseas.

Americans are faster today than in our first game. Playing almost without neutral zone... Scoring chances advantage is on their side too so far. But my team came back with some good chances in the last 6 minutes of period. We'll have a brief PP in the beginning of the second also...

Maybe if we loose two more defenseman and let you guys pick an all star team from every other country, you'd have a shot in hell. :winkwink:

Its still a 1 goal game after 40, but americans just doing a very good job of keeping us away from our game. Not a lot of positive things going into third...
Its amazing how poor Kowalchuk is playing on this whole tournament. Hes in a very bad condition after summer break. Loses the puck too often, cant handle the majority of passes. 4 games and NOTHING to show for it. Sucks to see...

Nice game, even though we lost... Theres no way we could get away with those fucking horrible defensive zone giveaways when Modano, Guerin and Tkachuk are on the ice. The game in Toronto tought us nothing. We blew it again and again, and we paid the price. We are going home.

I wanna see the +/- for kasperitis... although he plays with heart (hard hitting and blocks shots) the guy just can't play defensively) I'm not too fond of Kalinin either.
