I'm wondering why they would place a knife there, how easy would it be to be climbing something, you look down and that thing stabs you in the eye? or worse fall and have that thing jab you in the neck or chest.

all those weapons are carved out of wood and painted with homemade craft paint.

Its sheathed. looks like a sniper type suit hes wearing so its probably on the chest to keep glare and reflection down since most snipers work on their belly. any equipment holstered on their side or back would possibly glare or break their camoflauged shape.

I wish I had saved the "Canadian air force" and "navy" pics that were posted here a few years ago. Air force pic was of a soldier strapped to the wing of a fighter jet, holding a pistol.

Navy pic was of some guy in a bathtub with a machine gun mounted on it.
