CJ sites, worth the time?
 

I've been researching into CJ site's & i have a couple questions for the CJ pro's out there.

About how much bandwidth will you burn using the script when your at about 20-50k uniques a day.

Has anyone used a free version of a CJ script, & if so...are there any limitations to it etc.

About how long did it take you to get it all setup/running & have some trades done.

Are CJ sites usually setup as Niche's, or are there like Mega-CJ's out there with everything.

to answer your questions
the BW a script takes is next to nothing compared with the size of the site
the freeversions of the scripts are hmm how to say .. free http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/wink.gif means they dont provide as much abilities as the paid ones and maybe even crash ( not the server but the databse of the script )
IF u have a strong ded server u might can let the free scripts run on 100k / day but hell if you have the moeny to get your own server you should have some money to buy a paid script

and for the niches CJ is click click click http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif so you have to make every surfer click as much as possible therefor you better implement everything u can think of http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif (nothing illegal for sure)
but the cj1´s that every tgp owner is fearing http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif are not as big as they used to be.
IMHO the cj2 scene which has usually a clean design and sometimes content pulls more traffic nowadays

Well it seems like the traffic base itself would be worth it, if it didn't consume alot of b/w & server cpu time. I'm not quite sure how heavy a load the cj's are..but i guess i'll find out http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/tongue.gif

I'mma give it a shot n-e-ways, just as something to do in spare time while i work on all my shiot.

but I think THOSE days are gone
( speaking of cj1 )
and yes once it runs it is less time than galleries for sure but still who can build a cj1 without fresh traffic can build a tgp as well I say http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif

Hell yeah it is less work than making galleries and YES you can make money from them. Just ask Equinox...he can tell you about my stats when I had only 2k/day and was making $90/day from that little traffic...

Cj sites rock if you know what your doing... I have 4 of them... And Duke has some kick ass sites..

But now it,s harder to make cash with this kind of traffic + there is no bookmarkers, so you always need to feed your site.
