Now I dont normally Post Icq Logs, but I find it so funny when Noob Sales guys come and try to get me to put up links to other live cam companies. I cant really point fingers cuzz we have prolly done the same and will prolly do it again, cuzz its hard to know who your talking to, but given my ICQ handle is lars ya think this guy would know who he was talking to. I run pornochicks.com and this is what he was pitching me....

I feel bad I played with the sales person for so long but I could not help it I was laughing hysterically after every post. I have edited his icq number to protect his identity :)

i dont think that he was trying to give a bad name to Streamray either, but when i run across someone that is using a different cam program than ours, i dont ask them to switch or outbid the other guy by a cent. at the most, i say that if they ever want to try us, or try a second company.

i think that is one of the reasons that we get alone with barry and gunner so well. i never ask anyone to take down their links and put ours up

I don't see anywhere a text about taking streamray down and using Imlive instead.

But I do see him talking about using more then one program on a site.

Any way if Lars think that we are in a margin war, I can tell you that we are not.

During the few years that I have spent in this industry, I have noticed one thing. There is traffic out there for everyone, no need to get into margin war to get it to your site.

The $65 campaign wasn't a replay to something that you did, and I don't think that you can say the same thing regarding the $70 campaign.

Everyone was doing an August madness campaign, I can show you another 3 programs that were doing it as well.

You can believe what I have to say, but I can't make you.

We made a decision to run the $65 campaign, with no relation to anything you did :2 cents:

The only reason for the $65 campaign, was to get the affiliate from Internext to get us up and running after the show, so that I don't need to wait 3 months to see all the talking getting into actions :2 cents:

I'm not sure if you have the same issue, after all we had a booth in Miami.

And I can tell you that from the 8 times that I have been to the show, it is always about talking. When we need to get the webmasters to act, it take them a few weeks if not months to get things rolling, and I'm sure that everyone that had a booth will tell you the same.


So this time we just told them that after the show we will run a $65 campaign, so that they will have the incentive to get back home and put up those links.

If you were thinking that we have uploaded the campaign in order to get into a pissing contest I guess that you don't know anything about pussycash.

Ask around and you will see that we are not about pissing contests at all, but then again don't try to test us :winkwink:

LOL streamray has had several booths at past internext, I just did not feel it was a good return on investment ! Are you saying that since I did not have a booth that I am somehow less than ? Are you saying everyone there who has a program that did not have a booth is somehow less than ?

just think back to the days Xpics was raising PPC payouts went from 10 cents a click to 36 cents a click LOL all the sponsors lost out on margin and the traffic senders won because payouts went way up !!

She continued to belittle my host and to tell me how much better verio was - and never realized that she was telling me how bad my own service was - and never realized it. After I made her whois the domain and then match that with the provider, she apologized. What an idiot.
