Does anyone here do charity work? Or, you just don't have the time or desire?
 

Forget about the taxable donations that you make, I'm curious to know if anyone strays away from their computer long enough to do any meaningful charity work.

I was the President Elect for the local Kinsmen group a few years ago, but had to resign out of time constraints. It's one thing I still feel bad about.

Now, I just don't have the time at all.

I always say I'll go out and deliver Christmas hampers, but just can't find the time. Hopefully this year.

Am I alone in not having enough time to do this or does anyone actually get out and do it.

I'm also interested to know who has absolutely no DESIRE to do charity work and why that would be.

I don't have enough time for my own family, much less anything else.

I do volunteer work for Special Olympics as often as I can. That is usually 2-3 times a year.

Yeah, that's my problem with two young kids. Oh yeah, and a wife.

Not the rich ones but the ones on welfare....

I do charity work for animal rescues and Special Olympics.

From time to time I do charitable works, I tell you it's a good feeling
