Porsche or BMW
 

If you had some xtra bucks kicking around.. what would you buy...

Porsche 911 or BMW 540i
Porsche Boxster or BMW Z3

Given only those 2 choices, I would choose the Porsche on both accounts. I personally just do not like the way the BMW line of cars "sit". They may be "The Ultimate Driving Machine", but if I can't get comfortable in it what's the point?

The four don't really compare. But if I had to buy one it'd be a 9-1-1. But if I was living in that neighbourhood I'd be putting down money for a new M3.

ewww how can you compare a 911 to a 500 series??? thats like comparing a ferrari with a hummer.

i would personally do what im doing. get on the m3 waiting list. if you really want a porsche, get a 911. the boxster is slow. even the s version. if you want a 4 door get the 540. since you live in canada i would buy a 330ix. its awd, 4 door and has some hp 233 and its 40k full loaded. your price range is from 35k to 75k?
thats a big range...

Either M3 or a simple Coupe 330iA.

Easy choice, 1 of each the 911 cab and the bmw330i for when the weather isn't nice

Stuff the poor man's porsche and the girlie Z3 what you really want is a BMW Z8. V8 and 0-60 in 4.7 seconds. If its good enough for Mr. Bond then its good enough for me.

definately the porsche 911. if I had 400k I would definately buy the new 911 GT carrera, that car is so sick. till then im happy driving my audi a4 with a gt25 turbo. =P

You can't compare the BMW to a Porche. They are two different cars.

My BMW is comfortable as hell but handles like a slug compared to the Porche.
