Well, my wife had family here..I figured fuck it.. Bay area got rediculously overpriced, so I moved here, it's almost like making double the money doing the same thing.. I love the bay area, but it's just so hard to come up there... It's actually really nice here.. doesnt rain as much as people think, and no, there are not as many loggers here as you'd think also.. It's actually a big college town.. 2 colleges here..

Sawing logs = ZzzzzZzzzz ( falling asleep )

You're right though, it would be nice to cut my rent in two. I'd actually be tempted to be like Quiet and live completely removed from society. haha Montana perhaps? I've just been thinking about how cheap the property up there must be. I could direct an antorage of photographers shooting everything I need for my sites, and just handle the weekly updates via DSL connection. Would be quite nice I think, and cost next to nothing.

Eugene is like a little San Fran or Berkley, very liberal.

Good people there. My oldest daughter will be near there next yr going to the U of O.
