Conversions Shmonversions
 

I would like to know what some of you shoot for as far as visitors per sale, rather than straight conversions.

I am running mostly free sites. I also have posted some TGPs. Do you have certain goals per x amount of unique visitors?

I know it depends, but I wanted some guidelines here - I have only heard one estimate on free sites - and that was one sale per 5,000 visitors. Do you think that is about right?

How about TGPs?

More like one sale per 500 visitors on SE traffic.
