Not busy robbing banks or stealing cars today?

FYI mystatsarea.com is run by a known thief and liar.

Proof is here:

If you want to trust a blatant thief and liar with your passwords go ahead :)

BTW soukee... will you call me a 'son of the bitch' again today?

Right now we don't plan to launch a new referral program. Less than 5% of our sales came through affiliates and many of them were members that only referred themselves to get the software cheaper.

I am honest WM so I don't understand...

BTW: These "SR vs. MSA arguing threads" are very good advertising for both programs. Through my sig I have made 10 sales(not free trials included) from these threads...

Dagwolf 09-07-2004 01:28 AM

I thought you meant you bought the COMPANY. :1orglaugh

Good for you... maybe one day you and your friends don't need to steal other people's hard work anymore.

Maybe you should make up your mind. First you say that he stole from us because he was unexperienced and now he isn't a thief. So, an unexperienced thief isn't a thief then? :1orglaugh

You exaggerate. His first soft was only his work (code). He stole texts from your page. But code was only his work!!! It is important!!! He is very good programmer but not good manager. ... IT IS HISTORY!

BTW...Now I am thinking that my company can produce some stats software too:-) I am honest maybe you'll let my soft alone...

Your site smells statsremote. Come on.

Furthermore, where are all user/passwords stored?

Text, layout, functionality... all stolen... plus he stole the little yellow guy from AOL for his logo, Verotel closed his account within 24 hours (they don't do that if there's not 100% proof), he lost his domain due to false whois info, etc... really honest guy...

Good luck... and as I said many times before... I don't mind competition and I never said anything bad about RevStats and StatTool because they have unique products and they didn't feel the need to steal somebody else's hard work.

Guess what? Everthing is stored on his server... maybe even on a virtual account, I don't know.

His first project, Remote-Stats (stolen from us) was a desktop application like StatsRemote but it sent all usernames and passwords through his server... I wonder why.

I think you never said anything bad about RevStats and StatTool because you are not afraid of these programs as a competitor.

I will try to consult about stats software with my co-workers but I will not have so much time for this project I think...

... I must go out now so goodbye...

user password is encrypted in database
sponsor's login/pass are stored in dabase too - this is distinct from SR
But we don't see the motive why not...
Sponsor's login/pass are private but we dont have an urge to do with it...
Our service is only for you and we need only your statistics.
Nothing else matters!
You have to believe me (although JB marchs to a different drummer)

Well, RevStats has been around for a long time and they are much more of a competitor than mystatsarea. The big difference is that they are an honest competitor. And if you really think I'm afraid of mystatsarea you must be on crack.

I've had StatsRemote for about a week now and it's saved me so much time. The amount of time I use to spend checking stats added up and I didn't even realize until now. Now I just leave the program running and have it play a sound when I get a signup.

Lot of drama going on in this thead.

No drama... just the people that stole our work and got caught, trying to spam/hijack a thread about our software :)

WebDork 09-07-2004 06:53 AM

To find new sponsors these days I basically wait for statsremote update to say who they have added and then check them out from there. If sponsor is not in stats remote I dont bother with them. So yes, Im a fan :D

That's a shame - I'd like to promote SR. Is there a feasible way to ensure people don't just do it for the cheaper software?

Okay thanks, so you have all my private info, but you won't look at it, and do anything with it okay:glugglug No thanks I prefer SR

If we opened a new referral program many people would again just signup to get the software cheaper and there wouldn't be much we could do about it as people get quite creative to get stuff cheaper. And if we opened an invite only program many of our members wouldn't be too happy if we didn't let them sign up.

It's just not worth it for us. We had hundreds of affiliates for over a year but less than 5% of our sales came through affiliates. As most of them were members that referred themselves we actually lost money.

okay, it's your individual decision...
I can't understand what is wrong with it. I don't care what your stats look.
I conduct business - you conduct business
I make penny with MSA - you make penny with sponsors
