It might not be the US dollar that is the problem - it could be that the Canadian dollar is stronger.

At the moment the Aussie dollar /US dollar exchange rate is better than it has been for a month or two.

I hope it someday becomes par. I would go on a shopping spree every week! :Graucho

Yea, that was the clinton adminstration artificially inflating the value of the dollar with various methods.... Which also is why manufactoring jobs hit the road.. it was cheaper to produce else where then use free trade and sell at the inflated dollar....

yeh the aus dollar exhange has been pretty high of late..

Yeahp 12 months ago the AU dollar was @ 57.00 which converted a lot better USD, compared to what it is doing now.

We can thank both Bush and Johny for that one.

But hey look on the brite side, Interest rates are going up after the election and were promised up near 9% around Jan next year. :321GFY
