FUCK!! I just broke ANOTHER chair!

What the fuck?!?! I'm such a huge fat ass I broke yet ANOTHER chair!! I go thru them like every 6 months. What the fuck!!

I was leaning on the arm rest and I broke it off. Last time I snapped the weld under the chair and it reclined to the floor almost.

My old chair.

I don't have pics of the one I just broke yet. FUCK!!

Is there a fuckin' chair out there that I CAN'T break?!?!?!

I know that it can be fun buying new chairs, but did you ever think having that one fixed?
It would take 5 mins and cost like 5-10 bucks or free if you can weld lol.
Most likely will never happen again if its fixed this way

Beats spending 100-500$ on chair every 6 mtnhs

:winkwink:

Armrests on even the most expensive chairs are garbage. My chair is from RelaxTheBack.com, was like $900somthing and if one was not careful, you could snap these things off like a swizzle stick.

:2 cents:

fix a chair?? That's like eating left-overs. No thanks. It's trahed now that the arm rest broke. I don't even want to look at it anymore.

I feel dirty just for even touching it.

I want to get one of those aeron chairs.

The aeron chairs are extremely comfortable and robust. Herman Miller is wise choice.

I'm from hollywood. It's made of fiberglass, and is complete on the camera side. The backside is hollow.:winkwink:

That angel chair thing is fuckin AWESOME!! I wonder what the weight limit is? Also would it support two monitors?

Slap a small fridge to the back and a port-a-potty hook-up, and you'd be looking at ONE HAPPY FUCKIN' WEBMASTER!!!

RedShoe 09-06-2004 08:26 PM

GOD DAMMIT!!! I just broke the other arm rest off!!

MandyBlake 09-06-2004 08:39 PM

i'm sitting here all day long on a $99 chair i got from office depot a LOOOONG time ago, with my legs up on the desk when i'm in cam sessions. I've been using this chair for almost 4 years. lol

BradM 09-06-2004 08:41 PM

Herman millers are insanely good chairs but expensive.

If you fart a lot they are a wise investment. Please no one show Cora this thread, I want her to wonder what the smell in our office is and never have the balls to ask. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

I do that because I always buy the $89.00 chairs. Maybe it's time to step up.

I can never get comfortable in this chair so I push out and down on the arm rest to adjust my weight and well, I guess I just wear them down to the breaking point.

This second arm rest damn near exploded off. The first one sort of melted off and fell on the floor when I was just leaning. The 2nd one almost had all my weight and SNAP BAM CRASH!!

Screaming 09-06-2004 08:58 PM

damn man that sucks lol

I have a Herman Miller knock off ($350) and it was the best purchase I have EVER made. My back never hurts now... I swear by it and it is exactly like the real Herman Miller chair in the pic you posted.

I wonder why some people always find the need to shit all over your dreams. I bet if i had this chair I could work faster. HINT HINT!!!

"I totally disagree with you. As a cg animator for the last 9 years i have spend years sitting on my ass working. For the last 3 years i have had the pleasure of sitting in an aeron. It is definatly the best chair i have ever worked in. I wish i had one at home. They are far to expensive though. - and so far it has not destroyed my desk, trousers, back etc. I would give it 9/10. it loses a point for being to pricey.
