The following takes into account you know where they're "shooting" you from, i.e., left, right or above.
Several years ago, I purchased (online) a license plate cover that was "fresnel-cut." I wanted to give 'no view' of my plate to views from the right hand side of the car. When you stood on the shoulder, which is where they were shooting photos from then, you just got a blank plate. However, if you were directly behind the car, it was unobstructed. I don't know if they still make them or even offer them. You might want to do a search for "license plate,fresnel" or something to that effect. They worked great when I had a set. They were also "laser diffusing." Another good feature. |
