Living in So. Cal and Scottsdale, flip-flops (Haviana's) are EVERYONES footwear of choice.

You even see them at nice restaurants. (yikes!)

bought a pair for a park I was at last week... threw my (wet) shoes in a locker... walked about 45 feet... went back to the locker and put my wet shoes back on

That is the best thing to wear in the summer, when doing stuff like...

When I was in retail sales If I saw a customer come in with flip flops I would cringe. After 7 years in the business those lumbering in with flip flops on used to be bored piss broke gawkers that wasted a fuck load of time. Im sure a man making shit loads of money could still wear flip flops but 90% of the time it wasnt the case.

Bend over and put a pair of shoes on. We labeled flip flop customers as lazy broke fucks.

Traditional footgear in our house. We prefer to call them 'thongs'. Fuck those lousy strings they call underwear.

I take it not many of you live near the ocean. I live on the coast and go to the beach/sailing all the time. Its about the only thing people wear around here.

I do wear flip flops though, or my birkenstocks, as much as I can every year. Only exception or time you'll see me in shoes is when there's snow on the ground.
