PR8 domain, not expired - value?
 

hi, i have seen a pr8 domain that could be for sale, the domain is not expired, but the site is offline for quite a while and the backlinks in google vanished but are still visible on yahoo. what is the value of that domain?

Adult or non adult domain name?

If links in google are vanished , the PR8 will deseaper in a few months.

The toolbar dont show the real PR value atm

- i am aware that pr could vanish

- backlinks are on yahoo and the pages i checked still have the links

the site was possibly down for 4-6 months.

takes a while until the pr8 shows up on the bar. seems good software/computer related domain.

down for 6 months and always a PR8? it will stay like this prolly then

yep, i have control over it, but did not wanna say that in the first post as i thought of keeping the name unmentioned.

it looks familiar because it used to be a e/n domain fris

that domain used to host popular opensource software apache/mysql/php/.... but the previous owner couldn't afford the bandwidth anymore (it run in the $1000's each month). much more bandwidth than galleries would use.
