I am getting a new camera
 

As anyone that has attended a webmaster event that I have taken pictures of can attest, the Olympus camera I have been using is rather huge. The cameras Civil War photographers used were about the same size.

Well, today I broke down and ordered one that is significantly smaller, and uses less batteries, and has a ton more storage capacity.

I hope you guys will recognize me and still smile even though I won't have that huge thing hanging from my neck.

What did you get?

I need to do the same. I will not try to replace my Sony Maciva FD95, I love that thing, but I need something smaller to take around with me.

well, I had some Amazon credit I needed to burn . . .and they had some promotions going on . . . so the camera, 64 meg of addl memory, and a handy carrying bag . . . . $44 :thumbsup

I just bought a Nikon CoolPix 5200...For a point and shoot cam it's quite impressive, and very small:
