Why does the $$$ the industry make keep changing wasn't the dateline thing with barbara walters saying we were a $20 billion industry?

For those who didn't watch, the reporting stance was fairly neutral. But the adult industries strong points were presented in a way that was much more stronger than the anti-porn crowd.

The only overly negative thing they said came from Luke Ford when he said most women do only one film because it's such a bad experience.

It was nice they took the time to explain Extreme Associates defense that community standards don't apply to DVDs mailed out over the internet. The other side provided no comeback against that either. The PA attorney general totally dodged it in fact.

It varies widely based on what they're referring to. The stat they quoted tonight was specifically for pornography sales in America, covering DVD, tapes and internet. I'm not sure what quote the dateline one was, but each stat is dfiferent because a lot of them are open to worldwide stats, internet only, dvd only, etc... And a lot of times, its just hard to figure out and compile.
