Do you trade stocks?

saw an infomercial for this: http://www.wizetrade.com/

seams pretty interesting! Obviously all it is doing is analyzing history data and coming up with a prediction, but wont a computer be able to analyze better than me? lol

anyone try this? Or even hear of it?

i see they make their forum available to the public, at first i thought this must be a good sign to not see any negative posts ... but then i realized that they prolly filter the posts daily :1orglaugh

anyhow, anyone ever try this or something like it? Im interested in short term trading (2 - 5 days)

stocktrader23 might....dont know for sure if thats what his nick is implying though...

i dont really fuck around with stocks too much. I have some stock in a few banks and thats about it. i dont trade though, i tell them to just reinvest the $ made back towards purchasing more shares of stock.

That software just looks to see if it is going up. 3 seconds with a daily chart, squint, if line is going up, buy. Hit me up I can give you some good places to go. icq 166708909. You remember Tiny right? He does that for a living.

You can make and loose at lot really fast in the market.I do day and swing trading (stocks and forex).

It's all a mix of psychology, pattern analysation and information gathering + interpretation.

If you seriously want to get into day or shorterm trading you have to invest a lot of time into reading books first.

Those systems ain't nothing but historical data + regular pattern analysis and you're almost bound to loose your money quite fast with that.

You better go to amazon and buy some good books.

any stock trading system based on technical analysis thats being sold doesn't work. trading systems that work are highly guarded secrets

i find that books either dont start at the TRUE beginner level, or they move WAY too fast to be keeping up with them. Its like they are in a rush to cover a certain amount of topics in the book ...

know any good beginner books?

also is it recommended to play with virtual trading for practice? Where do i find a good one?

thanks.

First you should get some basic books and after that books that are only focused on special areas like analysation (candle sticks etc.).

Also you have to understand that you got to have a decend amount of money for investment that you don't need for anything. With 4-5k$ you can't build up a decend risc management.

Books like "Rule the Market" or "Direct Access Trading" are something for the very beginner to gather some informations about what they're really going to do.

You should start with paper trading/ virtual accounts. Most Forex brokers offer them if you're interested in currency trading.
