Is CNN on crack this morning?
I've been really impressed with MSNBC's coverage of the hurricane, their advantage being all of the NBC affiliate stations sending in reports. So after awhile I decide to see what other stations are doing so I switched to CNN just in time to hear the anchor ask a female reporter to "Tell us more about the major shed"
"A major shed just went blowing by awhile ago.":1orglaugh I'm sorry lady, they stuck you in a sucky spot to cover the storm, just say nothing but a shed down here:1orglaugh Then she held up a palm leaf and said "Here is a palm leaf that went flying through the air awhile ago" :1orglaugh Now they have a guy on there showing weeds that got blown around and OOH a damaged street sign:1orglaugh If you're going to pre-empt ALL news for one story at least put your reporters in the action:1orglaugh |
:1orglaugh sounds like a bit of an anti-climax

Yeah, CNN was lame coverage yesterday too. MSNBC has been right on it for 2 days and even though it's practically the only story they're covering they aren't having to resort to showing palm leaves and talking about major sheds. :1orglaugh
Fox News is making sure to take out time to regularly announce that John Kerry is trailing in the polls:1orglaugh |
The idiots keep showing the same fucking clips for the last 2 days:BangBang:

I assure you , plenty of action, they are just very poor at covering. We are getting crushed at the moment with wind and rain. trees blowing by....... not pretty at all.

damn, thats some dangerous shit....palm leaves flying around...damaged street signs, watch out everyone in FL~!

Florida gets a storm that doesn't even rival any of the death, extreeme events, or damage that has been done in any of 10+ places in the last few days, and it's world news for a week!?!?
BTW, Wellington NZ gets winds harder than those and it hardly even makes the evening news as an item ;) |
sounds funny :1orglaugh
