Key West checking in. We still have power somehow, and getting a little more shit than we did yesterday. We get our power from Miami (over 150 miles from here).... I don't know how we've had it going this long.

High on Acid- I think your right, this afternoon is going to be crazier. It's amazing how this thing is moving and what a difference 30miles makes. with the way these big ass pine trees are bending it's only a matter of time before one snaps and takes our power.

West Palm Beach checking in. Klixxx office in Broward missed much of the worst of it - Much everything south of Palm Beach made it ok. Here in Boca we got hit hard. Trees are down everywhere, minor damage resulting - no structural damage so far to the surrounding buildings. Haven't been able to venture out yet as there is a big ass tree blocking the entrance/exit to our neighborhood and cerfew, ban on alcohol sales, and anything flammable is in effect. Cable's out but powers been on for the most part. Man do I feel lucky and god am I BORED. This shit just wont stop. Still gusting up to about 50 out there.

Knock that AC down to 60 and start bagging ice - Get those beers cold and get comfortable, you're in for one hell of a ride. The eye passed right over us yesterday evening, still pretty bad out there.

I hear ya, Mike. I'm bored outta my gourd! I havn't lost power yet buy my area (South Tampa) is notorious for losing power at even the slightest drizzle. I'd say my power should take a shit sometime around 5. :(

This is a very weird storm. Big and slow. It will be sitting over us for the next 10 - 12 hours!!!

It's time to go old school and do some reading by candlelight.

Not sure yet what is going on in Melbourne, but Brett and I are safe. We just flown in to Hawaii from Bangkok. Going to stay here for a few more days unless we get word that our house is bad.

Im here. I went to Atlanta and if this thing takes any longer then im going to freak out!! I cant wait to get home. I should have never left, I hear that Lauderdale didnt get hit that bad.

Melbourne Florida checking in We just got power back about an hour ago :)

Just got my power back in Coral Springs after 3 days. I feel very lucky...

yep, power never went out here

Power never went out here either. But right up the road the power was out in a few places near UCF, but I belive it's all been restored now for the most part.

Just got back power here in Merritt Island. Not to much damage to talk about, just trees snapped and down everywhere.

I never lost power at all here at my house in Hollywood, Florida

I am alive and well...

When I left Quebec.. I connected in NJ and decided to stay in the tri-state for a few! I still have no power in my place in Boca Raton!

Hopefully when I arrive tomorrow...There will be Light!!
