how long does a steroid shot last?
 

ok well let me explain first.

I woke up this morning at 8am and my face was all swollen and I had a fever. I went to the emergency room and they did urine and blood tests to make sure I didnt have a kidney disease because they said I had the symptoms of it. the tests came back alright, no kidney problems, so they said it was most likely a spider bite or an allergic reaction to something. They gave me a steroid shot to make the inflamation go down.

when I got back from the hospital I took a little nap and woke up fucking drenched in sweat. my body is like working over time. i feel all fucking wired and shit. as I am typing this, i'm sweating a bunch from my arm pits LOL.

so how much longer should this shit last? the swelling in my face has gone down somewhat but its still there.

I look really weird, my face is all puffy. I look like a chubby version of myself.

it shouldn't last long maybe a day or so but the effects will get less and less. I got one today for poisin ivy...that's why i'm still up..and the sweat thing was happing this afternoon but it's fine know...good luck and feel better..:thumbsup
