Another question for the masses...
Why is it that some people can talk to one another online daily and develop a pretty good relationship, they get along well, have common interests, etc. Even phone conversations go on without any problems. But once they meet everything somehow gets fucked up. They become strange with one another, act like all the common interests no longer exist, etc.

You winked at me anyway dude. Don't you remember? For a second there I thought you were going to brush up against my thigh too. Glad you didn't, I forgot to take my Viagra with me.

Humans instinctively react to physical appearance. If the person you meet doesn't quite match the mental image you had, and in a negative way, you're bound to feel differently about him or her. It basically puts a barrier between you. This works both ways, so the odds of feeling instantly comfortable with someone that you've just met from the internet aren't great.
Or maybe you just smell like shit. |

Human interaction is a weird thing. We build up certain expectations in our heads and if those things aren't there when you meet, it falls apart. Weird huh.
