    At The Bottom of Hurricane France's Eye

    First off, no power, running on bat gens, GFY is slow as hell on dialup, no dsl.

    Not too much heavy rain so far. Winds running gusts to about 60MPH.

    Lots of trees down. Branches and leaves everywhere.

    So far so good. We're at the bottom of the approaching eye in Palm Beach County.

    Keep praying. The next 12 hours will be the worst they're saying.

    Over and out from South Florida.

    Hope everyone else here is doing ok.

                      Things are starting to deteriorate on this side of the state, too. Caught a couple of 50+ mph gusts a little while ago, but we know the worst is yet to come.
