SSH from Blackberry
 

Has anyone been able to get it working without paying $700 to the 3rd party providers?

I was thinking about writing some sort of script where terminal output would get transfered into HTML/WML but not too sure how to go about that yet.

I figure many people around here use mobile things, so was anyone able to get SSH working on mobile devices and how?

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of SSH? Converting it back into plaintext?

If you're going to do that just enable telnet on your box and get a telnet client.

Get a sidekick, it has ssh and the new sidekick version2 is coming out soon, that wiill rock even more :)

actually i just need to throw a few commands into the server, so i don't need it to be dynamic, as long as I can see the output after the commands are done executing

but if there's a BB SSH client available somewhere that's in a decent price range then that'd be ideal :glugglug

If you have the Nextel Blackberry, you can run it from the Blackberry without the Blackberry Enterprise Server.

Its $195 and worth every penny, so my consultants tell me. :)
