How's Europe in December?
A few friends of mine want me to go with them on a Europe trip in the first week of December - plan to visit France, Spain, Italy and someplace else I dont remember. How are these places in winter? I told them Europe would be all blotted out in snow, but they want me to believe these mediterranean countries are lovely at that time. So if anyone's been there (or lives there), let me know if its a good idea? We are not planning skiing or anything sporty, cos the girls dont want that. Just sight seeing.

Southern Europe will be mild, but most likely unless you get to the very tip of Spain, there won't be much beach action. Northern and Central Europe will be quite cool, and comparable to the Northeast US. Snow is a possibility, but I'm not too sure about which areas are most susceptible to that weather there.

why not come to germany ? http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif
the winter can be quite cool here although the last one wasnt as cold as usual but even at those kind "warm" http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif winters it should be no problem to see some snow over the country |
its usually sunny and about 30 degrees celcius here in ireland during the winter months...lol

ok for some helpful info...go to weather.com
type in the city, etc... and it will tell you the average temp per month and rain, etc...just look under "records" |
Thanks everyone, but all that still wasnt much help. So how's the weather in Paris and Rome in December, if anyone's been there at that time?
