Last week, the Register reported that "More than 200 civil servants in the [UK] Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) have been disciplined for surfing the Web for porn during office hours. In the last eight months the staff accessed over 2 million pornographic images, including 18,000 involving child abuse." Nineteen of the staff members were fired, according to a commentary by ZDNet UK editor Andrew Donoghue

I'd think that message boards like this one are worse for productivity than porn. I have people on my travel based board that post as much as Juicy and they have real jobs. :)

My husband worked for a guy who used to look at porn all day long in his office. He and his wife ran a PR company with about 10 other employees. Everyone used to dread going into his office because they never knew what they'd find.

He didn't ever try to hide it either! He'd have hardcore on his screen and have a conversation like some girl wasn't getting double anal on his desktop behind him. :1orglaugh

A flakey girl where I used to work sued the company for Sexual Harrassment, long after I left, when she got fired. A part of her claim was me talking about my websites.

She used to ask me questions about it, how it worked, ask to see hits and stuff like she was interested. She never saw anything graphic and I never said anything graphic.
