Photoshop Gurus....Centering a layer....Help please....
I have a nav bar background on a seperate layer and would like to center it in my document or between two guides. Anyone know if there is a setting for this? If there is I am missing it.....lol
:helpme Thanks, Bill |
I dont think so, but make sure you have "snap" turned off and it should be easy.

I don't think so. Turn the ruler on so you can place it accurately would be my best advice.

do you want to center it on the main background? just click the main background layer. then click the link icon next to the layer you want to center. go to the move tool (top right of the toolbox) click it then look for icons along the top of the interface you should see one with several boxes with a line through them. click the one with the line through the center of the boxes. it will center the linked layer to the master layer you originally selected.
