What is the best computer ever?

Doesn't have to be current, all-time. Like there are some car models that stood the test of time more than others.

The Sony PC I got in 1997 is the best computer I've ever owned, and I actually still use it daily.

P2 233mhz 224mb RAM Win98se

Only upgrades have been to the 32mb it came with and the Win98se upgrade from Win95. I also upgraded the BIOS once. Those are the only three things I've touched. Never even did driver upgrades.

To this day it's more stable than my other much newer computers and even though it's run 24/7 for about 7 years, there still hasn't been a single hardware issue. This thing goes down only during power flickers and when I want it to. Just two restarts in the past 114 days, both power failures. Pretty good for "Windoze."

The Macintosh SE is my fav Mac ever. Next time I see one that works I'm going to pick it up.

Deep Blue, the computer that kicked Kasparov's ass.

As for personal computers, I'll give my vote to the Commodore. It was the most stable, user-friendly machine ever.
