I just got done looking at the surf reports in SD. I'm thinking about heading out to either Mission Beach, or over by the pier after work today. Looks pretty flat though.

Where are you going?

waist to shoulder high at "D street" in encinitas but with a strong south wind. suppose to be 8-10 + over the weekend at south facing beaches. OC is stoked!! :thumbsup

Hitting Newport for the evening surf. Looks like a little push coming from Howard.

I am STILL awaiting a nice hurricane swell this season.

I just moved into town a few weeks ago.. there ARE a lot of GFY'ers around here eh? Anbody suggest a good bar? I live near downtown.

I surf and love my new 5"10" Rainbow Quad Fish. Didn't surf today as the wind was horrible. I hear there is a swell coming. Fingers crossed.

I also live in Solana Beach.

if I had more time on my hands, I'd go pickup a nice longboard and hit Pismo or Morro this weekend...

That used to be my place before the OC. Man, I remember in '99 I almost drowned during that big hurricane swell there.

I got some phenomenal rides, but I will never forget falling off the one face that day......whoa....

El Porto is a sanctuary for those that like madness. You never know when the swell will hit that place, it can get large quick.....
