The demands relayed yesterday ... were that Chechnya must be an independent state, and that Chechnya must be outside Russia.

Security forces are not planning to use force to end a school siege in southern Russia where an armed group has taken hundreds of hostages, a regional leader said on Friday.

If that happened, Chechnya would end up being another Afghanastan, a Taliban style radical Islamic state, a breeding ground for terrorists. Russia can't let that happen, nor can the world. Unfortunately, it means that those children will probably be slaughtered in the name of Allah. Radical Islam is a cancer that must be stomped out completely.
