Bye Bye, 16 Acres! Bye Bye House!

Jesus Christ, am I PO'd. It's time for a nice, long, drawn out lawsuit!

3 months ago I moved into a really nice place on 16 acres up in the mountains outside of town. I'm not going to go into all the boring details, but the main gist is this: the sellers were a couple that had seperated recently. They were never married, but were together 10 years. They now hate each other.

The female seller needed someone to move into the place quickly in order to qualify for the loan on her new house in town. I agreed to give her a bunch of money and sign some "letters of intent" that outlined what the purchase agreement was to be.

Here it is 3 months later and we're still fighting over the final purchase agreement. Every time I make an agreement with one of the sellers, the other one doesn't like it. And I keep pouring money into their pockets.

Today I told them that I'm sick and tired of this crap and that they can both go fuck themselves. I'll buy something else.

Fuck them! I'm moving out soon. Fighting couples suck ass.

And they can expect a lawsuit if they don't return my money.

Maybe if you sue them, their newfound fear and hatred of you will reunite them and bring them back together as a couple! :1orglaugh

Yup, you have a lot of rights when you live someplace. I wouldn't voluntarily surrender them.

JDog 09-03-2004 12:05 AM

Sorry to hear that man, that totally sucks, hope you find a new place.

They may have a point about not moving out.

Talk to an attorney first, but if it looks like they will not give the cash back, then stay in the house rent free. Dont pay anyone.

Real estate problems suck.
