FREE MAIL
 

usa.net is closing its free mail service and charging for accounts at the end of this month so I got to change mail service.

Other than hotmail and yahoo what's a good reliable free mail service thats been going for some time ?

I hate using HOTMAIL and YAHOO (and who remembers ROCKET MAIL ?) also ...

So I did my homework, and found a mail service that ROCKS !!! I set up my own server, because they are so good !

It has many more features than most web based emails do, including POP access, autoresponders(if you are going on vacation, etc), fully intergratable with ICQ ...you can chat with PPL on your contact list, right from your mail INBOX !!(very handy if you are away from your home computer alot!)

it also features an awesome calendar and organizer, and a really good mail filter for sorting your mail, and eliminating spam and junk mail .. and is encrypted with 40 bit encryption (which is damn good for web based email)

All this, and a unique email address too !

I was going to suggest Susansmail.com by Firstname but it looks like the free service is shutting down.

I'd try Excite.com or Go.com

i am so gonna miss usa.net. it was my first and bestest web mail ever! six years i had that account.

http://www.visto.com is pretty good too with lots of features. Large capacity too. I don't know if they still offer it but they used to have a program that if you got 3 ppl to sign under you that you got an additional 25 megs of space.
