Afiiliate info - Public or Private???

I tend to think that this info is private and i would not want them sharing it or posting it on message boards.
A rep for one of the smaller and louder programs said they consider it public. What do you think?

thats private stuff...

Unless the circumstances are extreme.. I wouldn't use any sponsor that would post affiliate info on a messageboard.

any information about a client - good or bad should be considered confidential. No mainstream company voluntarily offers up its sales figures unless they are shareholders.

Even saying, Pepsi is our number one client still has to be approved by Pepsi since you are using their name - whether its positive or negative.

They shouldn't share any info without asking for affiliate's permission first...
:2 cents:

Affiliate info is private & confidential unless otherwise agreed with the affiliate.

I agree that affiliate information should be confidential.

But I do not agree with the sponsors on here recently who have used that as a reason not to post sales statistics. If they simply don't want to, that's their choice and except as a passing curiousity, I'm not really interested in such stats anyway. But I don't like being insulted by being told that such stats are being held back to protect affiliate confidentiality.

there are some things of mine i dont want made public, and my personal information is one of the tops. There is a reason its called "personal information"... :2 cents:

pradaboy 09-02-2004 06:15 AM

it should be kept private :2 cents:

dennisthemenace 09-02-2004 06:16 AM
