im being fucked by an online retailer, what to do? (long read)

www.ofoto.com

on 8/25/04 I placed an order for 2 sets of prints, each cost 157.40 and total order was $314.80

immidiately after placing the order i realized that i should only order one set to proof it, since this is no $10 order i am dealing with. I emailed customer support within 1 hour of order.

i got a quick email back saying "sorry but order is in progress and it is too late", meanwhile on the bottom of the email it said that if there were any problems with the way i orderred to just contact service ... but i accepted the fact that it was too late.

then it became 5 days later and the status of my order was still "pending, not shipped" so i sent another email saying how i see the order is still pending, id really like to edit or cancel so i can reorder .... no response.

I called customer service and sat on hold for 50 minutes before i hung up.

that night i get an email from them saying that all customers now enjoy a 30% discount on all orders ... this heated me so i sent another email, no response.

this morning i got yet another email from them saying that i had free credits in my account about to expire, i logged in and found i had a 25% off coupon sitting there ... sent yet another email how i have been a good customer placing lots of orders and that i would like this order either edited to one set, apply my discounts to this order, or just cancel the whole thing so i can reorder correctly. i also added that they risk losing my loyalty and i will end up charging back the entire order once i receive the product. Still no response.

today at work i tried calling 3 times and stood on hold over 40 minutes each time before hanging up.

Now it clearly states that the CC used will not be charged until item has been shipped, which it has not.

Just now i called my bank because i used a debit card to purchase the item, they said there is no way to stop payment for the item or to block the retailer from charging.

What exactly can i do?? I feel like I am being thrown around by a company and there is nothing at all i can do about it.

once i revoke authorization to charge me, dont they have to honor it?

Any other ideas?

PS, tomorrow is 8th day and it still says it is pending, not shipped. As well still no response from customer service.

PS, i think because i used debit card, i cannot do a chargeback on the order. ...
