You should be able to make an action that does that. A text layer with low opacity and a light drop shadow would do it, wouldn't it?

Get CompuPic Pro by Photodex . I love this tool and it has tons of features that come in handy. The watermarking feature can be done in batch after you set up the required info such as left, right, etc. and how many pixels in (use a negative number when moving out from the right) It is also very inexpensive. Try it out you will be glad you did.

thanks for the advice and pointers guys!
Matt bro, ima try again in PS... remember my gig is content tho, so i need several tries to get it right... here goes again |
Easton ... just make your text in Photoshop, bevel it with a hard edge, then turn the FILL opacity down between 10%-20%. This should give you the same effect.

Unidream watermark :thumbsup But it seems they have a free batch thing... |
Also looks like the bevel direction is turned 'down'

Arles is a very good choice and costs only 49$ !

Can't believe no one posted this yet...
Picture Shark is THE way to go... It's shareware, and does an awesome fucking job.. www.picture-shark.com |
i really do appreciate all the replies and help/tips :)
i'm sorting thru it all right now... thanks |
although i havent tried all the apps that were mentioned... the problem i've found with some is that they dont support transparent images, formats with true alpha blending like .png files... most will support the choppy transparent gifs only.
anyhow.. here's a link to a photoshop tutorial. Batch Watermark |
Hey Easton, We've been using Arles for a couple of years and it's a great tool, especially when you consider the price!
However if you just want to use it for watermarking pics I'm pretty sure you can download the free demo and it will do everything the licensed version does. I THINK the only difference between the 2 is that the free version has a link back to the Arles site on every HTML page it outputs. But if you just want to use it for watermarking pics that wouldn't matter. |
Arles is definitly worth it ... for that kind of job it's a 5 click job on arles
