arm all your thugs with ak's only, never buy lowriders and when you jack them make sure to sell 'em again...

also never leave any money in your account when you log out, buy thugs, beer and condoms of it if you got anything left.

at the bottom of the screen, there is a link to "open console"
click it, at the top of the new screen there is a link to "attacks" IN/OUT

Click it.

There you will see who attacked, when, and the outcome.
