I'm not going anywhere

Everyone here on the intercoastal is packing up and leaving. That way if they do evacuate, they won't be stuck in traffic.

I've been though almost every hurricane here (even andrew), and I'm not going anywhere.

WiredGuy 09-01-2004 10:43 AM

Is there an evacuation order?
WG

Theo 09-01-2004 10:44 AM

funeral arrangements are pending :-)

4Pics 09-01-2004 10:45 AM

The fucker is gonna level the place.

Spunky 09-01-2004 10:46 AM

Good luck but if you are asked to evacuate ,I would listen to the authorities..better safe then sorry

Theo 09-01-2004 10:47 AM

Theo 09-01-2004 11:52 AM

If you are in the wrong place yes it most certainly is. I had to evacuate once when i lived in that state.. glad we did.. a tornado came right through our property.

good luck Mary..but don't be too stubborn if shit is going to hit the fan and dont wait too long to make that decision

SykkBoy 09-01-2004 11:55 AM

and this one does look gnarly as hell...

I know if I were in the path, I'd get the fuck out of there...the aftermath of Andrew made lil earthquakes in Cali look TAME in comparison to the magnitude of damage & destruction...

D-Money 09-01-2004 11:58 AM

You're 2005 Ho Of The Year.

But since we don't have a 2004 HO, you can be that too.

There's always that one old fart who just won't listen to the authorities when it comes down to evacuating...and then you get to listen to his family tell the story about him on the Discovery Channel show about *fill in the disaster here* because he didn't live to tell about it himself.

Well, if the old fool gets fucked up, that's his fauly.
But when rescue personel have to put their lives in danger to rescue that old fool, then that's fucked up :(

haha yea I remember seeing that... btw where do you live in FL Mary.. I thought you were way down south which should be out of the path anyway..

pornguy 09-01-2004 12:12 PM

Andrew was much bigger and stronger than this one.

I dont think that this will be any worse than the one that just hit.

David! 09-01-2004 12:12 PM

Around 2 p.m. Wednesday, Palm Beach County officials issued a mandatory evacuation for 300,000 residents along coastal areas effective at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Same thing for Broward, Dade and Monroe after the 5PM projection.
This ain't no storm to joke with :(

Growing up in South Florida, you get use to hurricanes every year (about 3 or 4). I sat at home during Andrew.

The only people that get hurt are the ones who go to the beach and surf.

A fence picket'd come flying through the window and you'd bite off somebody's dick.

You better not.

or the ones whose houses are leveled by the tornados or the ones swept out to sea by incredible tidal surges taking out their house they were staying in..or the people that get zapped by downed power lines..or the ones trying to leave in the car once they realize they are in danger...i have to disagree with you here.

You obviously know nothing about hurricaines

1. They thought that Andrew would hit Palm Beach.....it ended up hitting Homestead....65 miles south

2. They thought that Charley would hit Tampa, it ended up over a 100 miles south.

3. This storm is still 36 to 48 hours away.

4. Even if it stays exactly where they think it will, the hurricaine force winds will cover all the way to 80 MILES out from the eye, and tropical force 186 miles out. This storm is bigger than the entire state.

Cloudy weather? You have never seen a hurricaine in your entire life have you....:disgust

That's pretty amazing. It went through Fla., through the gulf hit us in La, and I didn't have power for 3 or 4 days.

Mr Pheer 09-01-2004 02:55 PM

A class 5 hurricane is just a minor blowjob compared to some of the ones you've given.
