FreeFlatScreens.com - is this shit for real?
Came across this site while goofing around (done all my work for the day and I'm bored) - is it for real?
Apparently all you have to do is sign up for a free offer (free AOL trial, free Blockbuster rental trial etc), refer 8 people who must also sign up for a free offer and they give you a flatscreen of your choice (15" LCD TV, 17" LCD monitor, 27" TV or 24" TVD/DVD combo). As I'm not opposed to the odd bit of refwhoring, here's the link : http://www.FreeFlatScreens.com/defau...eferer=8557117 I signed up for the free Blockbuster trial (lies! They charged my $1! :winkwink: ) - they accept Epassporte virtual visa's! And yes, I was on the genuine Blockbuster site so I don't think it's some sort of phishing scam. I don't hold out much hope of me actually getting anything - has anyone tried this and actually got a free TV, or know anyone who has? |
word on the street wants the co. to have problems to deliver the large # of ipods...now you get the idea for flatscreens etc
|
Dunno, but I think the chance to win in the lottery is bigger than to get such a flatscreen.
|
i doubt it's real seams like it's just like that freeipod bullshite :1orglaugh
|
Probably someone who collect a BIG email list! :Graucho
|
yes everyone is handing out free flatscreens, didnt you know?:glugglug

After you get the referrals, 3 days for them to review the referrals, 3 weeks for them to ship it, 2 weeks for the shipper to deliver it.
"If there is suspicion that one of your referrals is not a unique user, we reserve the right to place your account on hold. Accounts are on hold indefinitely." They'll send out a few screens, the way a Ponzi scheme pays out the initial dupes, to lure more dupes into the con. But I wouldn't start clearing space on your entertainment center before the box arrives. |
Its legit. My brother got his and I got my ipod. They are not plasmas or anything, just smaller flatscreen pc monitors and like 27" Sony Wegas. If you follow the rules and cancel the "trial" offers correctly, you can get one too.

My ipod took a little over a month (they are backordered now) but the Wega was here in like 3 weeks (he signed up the first day they started). You are right about the spam thing. Get a "spam" e-mail addy :winkwink: |
