Arnold says...
"If you hold the educational system responsible for the quality of education then you are a republican."
- Why is it then when a school scores low on the annual SOL's, they are given less funding? And the schools that score higher are awarded more? Doesn't that seem twisted to anyone? |

For what it's worth, financial incentives have certainly increased thinking in schools... well, thinking about how to fake good stats so they can cash in. :1orglaugh |
He also says "If you think you know how to spend your money better than the government does, then you are a republican."
I guess so, since this republican administration has taken our giant surplus and turned it into the largest deficit in history in less than 4 years. |
I hold the students responsible for the quality of education. You can learn as much as you want to; teachers will always cater to an eager student.
|
I'm suprised you could understand what he was saying, he sounds like he's got a mouth full of marbles.
|
Yup you just expell, transfer, or send kids to special education classes until you are at the correct numbers.
Must start them young and get them properly sorted. |
You guys all seemed to love him when he was running to be our governor

I never wanted him to begin with and I usually side with Republican based principles. All in all it doesn't really matter, people will always complain no matter the income. Which is about 85% of the reason I don't give a shit anymore. |

OOO wait, most schools that need help are perdominatly black schools, so in the minds of racist Republicans they are likely doing the right thing. :321GFY |

Arnold is a novalty Governor, not someone to be taken serious. Kinda like when Sonny Bono was a Mayor. Cute, but thats about it. They fact that they enlisted Arnold as a spokes person for the Republican Party shows the lack of Party depth Its sad really.
I am so glad I renounced my long time Republican stand ( 23 years ) Im so embarressed by what the Republican Party has become. John Kerry 2004. Not becease he is the perfect man for the job, but because he is not George Bush! |

I could be wrong, but from what I understand teachers down there barely make enough to keep gas in the car and food on the table. Administration, on the other hand... |
just a slight bit
