Ex-girl/boyfriend

Do you have friendly relationships with your ex or you has sever all relations?

candyflip 08-31-2004 08:13 AM

My ex and I talk all the time. She's one of my best friends.

I've also been talking to another ex, from like 5 years ago now. Who knows where that might go.

Corleone 08-31-2004 08:13 AM

Only have contact to one of them...

for the rest -> delete the numbers and you're done :glugglug

Absolutely! When things end, I always make sure they end in a good way. I dont need to stop talking, or be upset with someone I once loved. The way I see it is if your with someone for a long period of time, you gotta stop talking to them at least for a little bit (until all feelings are gone) As soon as those feelings are gone, why not. :)

I still talk to my ex- from 4 years ago. every now and then we go out and eat and play alittle bit on the site :)

SleazyDream 08-31-2004 08:28 AM

it's usually best to sever relations, but in the case where the person is in the same industry or you'll see them again and again it's better to be friends - otherwise problems will happen and relationship difficulties will spill over into work problems and then retaliation occurs and it involves work wich effects a LOT of people's livelyhood

I only talk to one. Generally, they are ex's for a reason =) I only have a few of them anyway, so one out of a few is pretty good.

My ex-husband's family and ours are best of friends. The fact that I have a son & he insisted on all things to be put behind helped. I'd rather not waste my energy on hating someone I once loved. The new girlfriend is a sweetheart & we're very much alike & get along fine.

Most of my ex-boyfriends I think crossed my path for a good reason & whatever we shared is reflected upon as a good learning experience.

There is only one ex-boyfriend I don't talk to & thank God I've never had him cross my path again (less emotional drain). It takes a lot for me to hate someone & he pushed the right buttons.

Except for one, I am still friends with them. The one I don't talk to . . . i can keep track of on sports center . . . that's all the closer I need to be.

excitica 08-31-2004 08:43 AM

it's incredible - ex become your clouse friend or leave from your life on forever :)

iFliPcEss 08-31-2004 08:58 AM

Im talking to my ex's in a civil way, just simple hi & wassup but nothing more deep talk anymore, maybe I was too naive to realized that your ex could be your friend as well but I rather leave it that way duh

Raf1 08-31-2004 09:08 AM

I have pretty good relationships with most of my ex-girlfriends. We usually end up in bed if we meet by accident in a club, and that's fine with me :glugglug

axelcat 08-31-2004 09:09 AM

phonephucker 08-31-2004 09:35 AM

I always try to stay friends with my exes and mostly we become very good friends with non-committal sex time to time :)

Odie 08-31-2004 09:50 AM

yup, I do! It's kinda hard not to. As long as we are both mature enough to respect our new sig others then why not?:thumbsup

I never want to be friends with an ex.. I just do the pretend friend thing for a few weeks and then stop returning calls and the like.
