win xp freezes after boot
my pc freezes after booting up...i can't do anything for some 45-60 seconds then everything works fine...any solutions?

did you just installed SP2? there are several documented reports of such problems after applying the patch.

start it on safe mode to see if it boots. and stays stable. i think you are having a hardware problem check your NIC and other periferals. unplug them all and try it if it is stable then plug 1 x 1 untill it freezes again.
bad NIC or printers or power cables tend to freeze up pc. |
go to Start/Run and type mscongig and click ok. In the new screen that opens click the Startup tab and check what you have that boots up with windows. A lot of the shit in the is useless and will just slow shit down.
