Moore makes appearance at Bush convention
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/dayart...-MOORE.sff.jpg
NEW YORK -- Already a box office sensation, filmmaker Michael Moore got another loud reception Monday at the Republican convention. This time, it was boos. When Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., told the delegates about "a disingenuous film maker who would have us believe that Saddam's Iraq was an oasis of peace," they knew he was referring to the maker of "Fahrenheit 9-11." The film, which savages Bush's Iraq policy, has set a box office record for documentaries, grossing $115 million so far. McCain's comments prompted prolonged booing and chants of "Four more years." Many of the delegates faced Moore, who was seated in the press seats at Madison Square Garden because he is writing a column this week for USA Today. Moore seemed to relish the attention, thrusting his arms over his head, laughing and saying, "Two more months." Asked about McCain's remarks, Moore said, "I can't believe they're dumb enough to bring up the film and help its box office." I Like this guy :glugglug |
That was funny i thought he was gonna cause a riot in there .......

What a waste. Shame many people were swayed to believe the so called facts in that movie. Pretty comforting to listen to Guiliani and McCain, that have a backbone and tell it like it is.

The Bin Laden family (if not exactly Osama himself) had a close if convoluted business relationship with the Bush family, through the Carlyle Group. That's all for now, work to do. If you were bright you would be able to do some research and find this out yourself. |

Can't admit that I was right? Why don't you get your head out of MM's ass and go outside once in a while and you'll see that there is another side to the story other than what MM tell you each day. |

Michael Moore presents one side and calls it a video op/ed piece. Fox news presents the other side and calls it news. Neither is accurate in portraying the whole picture, but which is more dangerous? At least Moore is honest about his bias.

Is he doing the BP4L handsign?

he calls his trash "documentaries" nice try though. Oh, and Fox presenting the other side of what the liberal press shows is called balancing the news. but why bother talking to you? you think the NYPD has planted police in the protest groups to cause trouble. :repuke |
I think Americans are screwed either way. But hopefully I'm wrong.

There are half truths everywhere and it's up to you all to sift through the garbage and make an informed decision. Whether it be two more months or two more years your decisions need to be informed. All of you that do not vote, get off your lazy asses and register! |

So if I don'tsay theyre are many posts in this thread, I am lying.... I tought that lying was when you WERE SAYING something... that is false. Example : " We know that Saddam has WMD; we know were they are ..." That was and still is a lie.... Moore basically did a movie " editorial " column, with his opinion; Fox do their shows with their own point of vue. Neither are lying, both are promoting their agendas thru propaganda. :2 cents: PS: NMoore has real balls ... he goes on the front line himself' doesn't send young kids to do his job! :thumbsup |
this guy has the guts to show disactisfaction to Bush by attending his campaign. if there is someone you ought to believe in, is his works that truly proves
that indeed the War in Iraq was the biggest mistake the administration ratified. |

Bush proves he is the Real Flipflopper. First he said that they cannot win the war on terror and now he says again that they can!
Can somebody keep him away from druggy powders please? Bush Now Saying 'We Will Win' Terror War http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...pr/cvn_bush_24 |
