Affiliate Software-WHICH ONE-discussion
I had a lot of people recommending me NATS + X3
I noticed a lot of companies get rid of the MPA software. What would you recommend and why? Also webmasters who dont own affiliate programs, please respond, which affiliate software works best for you ( where you send your traffic at ). Thanks people |
a lot of people dislike MPA because of rumours of MPA2 having a shaving feature.
MPA3 does look good, but Nats has to be #1 at the moment |

We use MPA2, and will be upgrading to MPA3 soon. The support dept. really has become pretty solid too. Very quick replies to problems and they very good about following up to make sure everything is working properly. |
I don't like NATs that much and I don't trust MPA2/3 ,I like the (custom coded?) one from PerfectGonzo.
|
MPA2 seems to be the working quite well at the moment and in the past

MPA needs to totally drop the shave feature and somehow prove that this has been done and cannot and wil not be introduced again no matter the carrot dangled in front of them by some companies.
If this can be achieved it remains a great piece of software. An uphill battle though to restore some peoples mistrust of the software. |
mAffiliate from mxdevelopment.com - Best features of all the ware out there into one hot package. :)

about the shave feature, Guess it's there, but we if we'll be using the MPA program we will not be using it.
Of course we have a responsibility and a reputation to take care of. We are webmasters ourselves, we've seen the bullshit of shaving sponsors |

There are MANY webmasters that will not promote an MPA site, regardless of whos behind the scenes. Why subject yourself to that when their are alternatives. Yes Yes we all know shit can be coded in afterwards, but why start with a bad taste in the mouths of affiliates is beyond me....Carry on
|
I really like the nats software, pretty easy to navigate and simple, I'm not after to much fancy stuff...
oh and mpa2, just don't use it, loads of webmasters just won't promote you because of the shaving function, doesn't matter how good your rep is. |
I heard MPA3 does not have the shaving option btw, As I'm sure we 'll be our own rank1 webmaster it'll be all good :)

NATS ALL THE WAY!!

Nick,
if you have any more questions regarding NATS, let me know. You can ask them here if you want to of course, or msg me on ICQ 1889711 or AIM fthylmann. BTW, Taboo, there is still no reply to our questions, especially the last question by john, posted in http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=343058 Would really like to see one to this one: ----- Your clients are all hosted on your servers, and your affiliate links point at your servers. This makes it VERY hard for them to move to another software as they must ask all affiliates to change links. If someone does want to move from your service to another software (their own even) would you be willing to rewrite thier links to point at their domain so their affiliates can continue to use the current links they have online? ----- |

Nathan,
I was not involved in nor privvy to that thread, so I apologize that your questions went unanswered. I will say it was probably abandoned due to the negative atmosphere that was looming. :) The answer to the question is yes. We can and do rewrite URLS for more effective branding of the clients' affiliate program and to prevent changing affiliate links if a user is switching from one software to another. We also install the software on the clients' servers. We've been in successful mainstream business since 98. Though we have several adult clients, we decided to market actively to this industry last January. We may be virtual unknowns here, but we are not novices. :) Thanks for the interest Nathan. I'll be more than happy to answer any other questions you may have. Quote:

We did all our reasearch and NATS just out weighed all the rest.

The one that Lensman use!

the question is not really if you allow setting it up to more effectively brand to the clients program, but rather if you can, LATER, help someone move away from your program if he used roia.biz links or similar older links. We would also still like to see a complete list of your features, if you have one, send it to [email protected] Thanks, Fabian |

A feature list is on its way. |
I would also like to clarify that the solution we are preparing to do a sale for is the demo I posted above.
The solution Fabian is referring to is our new software (ROIA). |
