Guy would've been totally fine if he'd been wearing his seatbelt. I don't get why people don't - its easily the biggest factor on whether or not you live or die in a car crash, and its not like anyone thinks its 'cool' not to wear a seatbelt.

His head is sticking out of the window on the side that got crushed in the end. I think we can all put 2 and 2 together to find out what ultimately happened to this guy. That's sad, totally preventable, and yet kind of a good thing. Natural selection still works, it has just changed its methods a bit.

But still... why was he filming himself? Was he part of a study on people and the dangers of narcolepsy?

I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt. and I have been in a really bad wreck witnessed firsthand that seatbelts save lives.
4 people were in the car. we were going 65mph and tboned this truck turning across the lane we were in. 3 of us were wearing seat belts and the other guy, Wes, wasnt wearing his. the airbags went off upon collision and next thing I knew, Wes was hunched over the two front seats with blood flowing from his head. aparently, when the wrecked happened, he flew forward (he was sitting in the rear passenger seat) and hit his head on the windshield and the only reason he didnt fly all the way out of the windshield is because his foot got caught on the middle console(the cup holder part inbetween the two front seats) and that stopped him from going out.
we all went to the hospital and he had the worst injuries out of all of us. he had to get air lifted to another hospital and get staples in his head because he cracked his skull.

I only had a broken ankle and cuts on my chest from the seatbelt digging in from the power of the collision, but fuck, it saved my life.

buckle up people.
