I was talking about this with my brother a while ago, because I was thinking of trying to start a ringtones site. He said the reason the ringtones business is so large is because of the grip the phone companies have on their user base. Is it tough to compete with the much larger sites such as ATT Wireless and the like?

Is it tough to get their users attention when ATT has all kinds of incentives to buy from them?

its not tough to compete with them but untill recently there was no way to get the payment from the end user in north america
